Directions:

  1. Put honey in a pot on the stove and head that over medium until its consistency is more like water than honey.

  2. Add in the flakes and the once you see small bubbles begin to form, immediately remove from heat and let rest for 10-15 minutes.

  3. If you like the flavor, strain the flakes out. Otherwise, leave them in and the heat will continue to infuse the spice from the chilies.

  4. Store for up to 3 months (with dried peppers)
